Question

in Connect edition 13 how do you create a report to find specific a xref name in several drawings in a folder? 
 Say I have 150 drg files which have various ref files attached, 
 How do I create a report and process all 150 files to find which drawings in selection have a specific named xref. 
 I used to have a BAS that did this beautifully in v8i and created a csv listed all the dgns and all the exrefs for each dgn processed, then in excel I just filtered to find the exrefs I wanted to know.. 
 But we should be able to do it via a report right? Or only vba can do this?

 It took me a few tries to understand the idiosyncratic user interface to Reports . That's one reason I documented the required steps. It doesn't help that the end result is some invisible code stored inside MicroStation that we can't see. There is no Reports query language analogous to SQL. 
 I've posted an Idea : vote if you like it.
