In Bentley Connect, is there a way to export a custom workflow and ribbon in order to import to other users and configurations?

Try "ribbon customizations exportecxml" key-in for export and "ribbon customizations importecxml" for import.

It's an old thread but I'll answer here.
My colleague has created some customized ribbon bars that point to our cell libraries and he doesn't remember how he created them. So we just tried to use your suggestion, Jan Šlegr but it didn't work in MSCE 16 and 17.

Sorry, but your post contains zero useful information and cannot be answered.
What "does not work"? What you did? What is the result?
There is no magic mirror showing hidden information.
We exported our ribbon customizations and imported them on another machine with the mentioned key-ins and the result was nil. It didn't work, nothing happened, no customization got imported. What information are you missing here?

Why you did not explain this in the first question?

Missing information is for example:
The displayed customization is the last step in complex chain, so every step should be checked.
Regards,
Which version were this customisations created in.
Ribbon customisations are stored in a DGNLIB file and the configuration variable MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST should point to a folder where this DGNLIB file is located.
In a standard installation it usually resides in the WorkSpace folder.
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\YourWorkSpace\Standards\Dgnlib\
Try copying the DGNLIB file to the above folder in U17 and the customisations will load.
