Hello,
I have created a cell with text fields that link to item types. I place this cell as a label. The connection between item types on the element and the text fields inside that label work fine. They update when I change the item properties on the element.
For the Text Fields inside that cell I use "Center Center" Justification and Text Style set to "none".
Unfortunately it seems that the label looses its information about the justification. The text fields inside the label are placed with left justification. When I update the text field with keyin "field update single" and click on the text fields, they update their justifiaction to "Center Center". When I want to be smart and use the keyin "field update all model" nothing happens, the wrong justification doesn't change.
Maybe someone can verify this behaviour as a bug? Or even better: tell me whether I do something wrong?
Best regardsStephan
For your interest:
I filed a service request regarding the issue (Service Request 7001361992) and it resulted in Defect Report 714305.
It will be evaluated by the product management team for the regular CONNECT Edition updates.
-------------------------------------------
Currently using:
OpenPlant Modeler - Version: 10.09.00.74
[MicroStation - Version: 10.14.02.01]
I am having the same issue and can confirm this behaviour.
Here is a little GIF which shows what is happening.
I used a label cell, which has a text favorite that reads the level of the element it is placed to. Here it is the "Testlevel". Insided of the cell, the text is centered (you can see it, when it still has the placeholder text). After placing the text of the text favorite gets placed to the left of the centerpoint. After opening and closing the text editor it is centered again. The normal text (no placeholder / text favorite) is not affected by that.
Hello Abhay,
thank you for your reply. Sorry for taking so long.
Now I have created a file:
With this file it shoud be possible to reproduce that issue: I place a label and the justification is not the same as in the original cell.

Hi Stephan,
I tried workflow mentioned by you at my end, but I didn’t see any changes in justification after placing item type field as a label.
Also,I tried with default text style 'none' as well as with creating new text style setting up justification as 'center-center' but could not able to reproduce this issue.
Could you please share the data set?
Thanks,
Abhay
