Hi, I've been using MS since Win95 days and used to the well positioned key "B" rather than the "Enter" for Smart Lock. In V8i I could easily replace B for Base Rotation by RB so B became available for Smart Lock. In MS Connect however it seems that I have to type in a Key-in under Accudraw Keyboard Shortcuts. Does anyone know what to write there? Thank you
I'm not sure what you are referring to here. By Smart Lock do you mean Lock Accudraw to one of it's compass points (X or Y axis)? If so you can just hit Enter. B is still Base Rotation for Accudraw.
Microstation CONNECT - 10.17.2.61
ORD - 2021 R1 10.10.1.3
ORD 2022 R1.1 - 10.11.3.2
ORD 2022 R3 - 10.12.2.4
Microstation v8i SS 10 - 08.11.09.919
Power InRoads v8i - 08.11.09.615
ProjectWise - 10.0.3.453
That's true. But he wants to assign Base Rotation to RB and Smart Lock to B. I guess B is just closer to his left index finger than Enter.

In CONNECT you are no longer able to change the Smart Lock from Enter.

Key-in is "accudraw lock smart"

Thanks Brien, that's it! I never understood why Bentley moved the important Smart Lock to Enter - there's no key more central than B and to use this for something as unimportant as Base Rotation is really weird, particularly because all other rotation operations are stored under R so it's only logical to use RB for Base Rotation.
