Request add WYSIWYG character map to the bottom of Word Processor Would it be possible to add the WYSIWYG character map to the bottom of the word processor text editor and allow it to change with th e currently selected font? The WYSIWYG editor doesn't allow for multiple fonts and the \# & %%a keystrokes are confusing to new user s. If nothing more than supporting Windows character map directly, such as MS Word, would greatly improve efficiency. Could use expansion arrow to perserve space. CR# 78917
Jeff,
Can you advise if their are plans for 'in place' text editing, and if so, when will it be available?
Regards
Ken
Sorry Jeff, I have been wanting this so long and I didn't see it. I gues I should have RTFM. I love it and at least this post may help others find it.
Thanks,
Roy
p.s. Thats one major CR filed
What do you think of the symbol selector? It is a modeless dialog that can be opened with the word processor, and will update itself based on the active font in the word processor; double-click a glyph to insert it.
