Microstation Crashing/Hanging when restarting remote desktop

Hello,

I'm currently using the latest Microstation Connect Edition for a few projects I'm working on.  I am running Microstation via a remote session using Windows Remote Desktop.  Whilst the session is running Microstation performs as normal.  I however have frequent issues with connectivity to the remote session meaning I have to restart the remote session regularly.  Every-time I reboot a session it causes Microstation to glitch whereby I can use Microstation for a few seconds before the whole program freezes and becomes unresponsive the only to option is to force crash Microstation.  All other programs running in the background run are as normal

Is this is a common issue whilst using Microstation via a remote desktop, and can anyone offer any advice.  Happy to provide more details if need be.

Thanks

Mark

    Event Logs

    Please check the event logs for any errors. Kindly save the Application and System logs, email us.

    To get the system and application logs:

    1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer
    2. Expand "Windows Logs" (in XP: "Event Viewer (Local)”) folder.
    3. Right-click on "Application" and select "Save All Events As…" (in XP: "Save Log File As...").
    4. Give it a name
    5. Save it in the evt or evtx file format
    6. Repeat steps #3, #4, and #5 for "System"

    For a test, disable Direct X 11 and reproduce the problem. Create configuration variable QV_DISABLE_D3D11 and set the value to 1 or create a system environment variable.

    QV_DISABLE_D3D11 = 1
