The MicroStation text editor dialog relies on some Windows components. You may need to install those prerequisites locally. Search this Forum for similar questions.

Thanks!!!
I am in V8i ss4 and using MS Remote Desktop to access my work pc and software from my home PC works great only one issue, if mstn locks up its more difficult to crash out one needs to log out and restart by remote.. but other wise speed no problems and very little lag made big pdfs from roll plots and high res images etc over the company server .. so I can keep working from home under company wide home isolation and we use MS teams for communication.. I love it !

As Jon wrote, you need to install windows component. Everything what you need is to install "DhtmlEd.msi".
