Hi,
I am new to microstation v8i ss4 and have a drawing that is rotated. What are the steps to unrotated the drawing.
Thanks
You should find the following documentation of assistance. It is for MicroStation CONNECT Edition but the tool operated the same as in V8i.
Rotate View
Within the Rotate tool in the View Toolbox at the top of the view window you will find the Unrotated method.

Hi Jon,
Two ways:
1 - Retain the elements as they are and rotate the view to align with them.
You can create a Saved view and assign that saved view name to a key-in to some keyboard key and every time you're in a rotated view you can come back to your desired alignment and position according to your saved view.
2 - Rotate view to Unrotated view and then select all elements and rotate them by method of 3 points:
1 and 2 are the order of (by default) left mouse button.
Press v to rotate the Accudraw and finally the third mouse click to accept the final position.
Of course the 2nd option will take your elements out of original position. if they are drawn with that intent you definitely should use the first option.
Always follow the prompt on the lower left corner.
Search help to have some more helpfull tips.

José
If your normal 'orthoganal' view is rotated, you could also define an ACS and use the Top view to align your view (ACS Lock needs to be ON)
