Returning droped (exploded) dimensions to its original state

Hi everyone hoping that all are doing fine inspite of the situation around us, just keep safe everyone.

Anyways, I would like to know if there is a way of returning the original state of a dimensions after it is being droped or exploded.

What happen is I've imported drawings from autocad format and in those drawing files all the dimensions are exploded and now our client requires all drawings in DGN format and they commented that they want all the dimensions to be in its original state which is a true/active dimensions and not just a bunch of text, lines and shapes.

Is there a way, a command or anything that i could use for this matter, because I've got alot of sheets to cover.

Hoping that someone could share if there is a way. Thank you.

Keep safe and stay at home everyone....

Your clients should stop dreaming and move into the real world.

Here's an analogy: I give you a book to read.  However, I first tore out all the pages and threw away the covers and index.  On each page, I removed its page number.  You will enjoy reading the book as soon as you have reassembled the pages in the correct order.  That's a simpler task than your client has set you!

Objects that were exploded in AutoCAD have no memory of their origin — they don't 'know' that they were once part of a more complex object.  It would be impossible using AutoCAD to recreate the dimensions from an unconnected assortment of lines and numbers.  Yet your client expects you to use a different CAD tool to reassemble those dimensions in another file format?

Your only hope is to obtain the DWG files before the dimensions were exploded.
