I'm trying to create mesh from points. There is no problem if the surface is facing into Z direction (like Terrain Model).

But, I would like to create mesh from points on surface which is not horizontal (facing X direction) - triangles

Re: vertical mesh from points

Hi,

I'm using actually Cloud Worx. It's tool to view point cloud in MST.

To create mesh one has to use Microstation Toools. The problem is that when creating mesh from points it always take Z direction from Global Coord. System as direction of "view". To create mesh on vertical surface one would have to change direction of view (setting UCS doesn't help).

you'd better use Bentley CloudWorks ... this is tool designed exactly for the work with cloud of points, no matter how they are oriented ...

Maybe you should divide the model in parts and model one part by one.
