Hallo,Is there a way to update linestyles in a DGN file from a dgnlib, more or less in the same way as it is possible to update levels and textstyles from a dgn library? I know there is a way to update linestyles from a rsc file, but this is in my situation not possible, Or is there a way to delete all old linestyle definitions (used and unused) from a dgn and recreate them on the fly?
Reason behind this question is that users have old files with old linestyles. In their new environment the want to use the new linestyles, but because the old linestyles already exist in the dgn, lines stay displayed with the old linestyles. They have no clue (or possibilities) to find out what rsc file the have to update from while textstyles or levels can by simply updated with one button/command.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Maria,
Thank you for your answer.
I was aware of this blog, but as mentioned my users are not able to make use of the rsc files (there are about 40 different of them). So therefor I am looking for a way to update the linestyles from the dgnlibs as can be done with textstyles.

Just reading here, but Maria is suggesting creation of a new RSC file, which you should be able to use. Have not read the thing, but guessing you simply create a new RSC file, adjust the configuration variables and BobsYourUncle.
