Hi, When i double click on a text the text editor doesn't come up? I've tried the dialog box but it doesn't load up large paragraphs of text. Is there a way i can get my text editor back? Thanks
thank you. this was helpful.
the last statement solved all issues.
another handy hint press control space bar can bring a missing dialog at the cursor position worth practicing a few times as it happens now and again even if you have all the updates and software working correctly...

Hi Andrew, the installing of the DHTML Editor fixed the problem Thanks.
If you are receiving this error with the operation of the Word Processor text editor the Wiki article supplied by Carl Myhill explains various suggestions to fix this issue.

Hi We have just installed Select Series 10 and are getting exactly the same problem with the Text Editor, we are running it on Win 10. I have looked at all of the other solutions but none refer specifically to SS 10. Is SS10 compatible with IE11 as this seems to be the fix for previous versions ? I have found that when I switch to Word Processor instead of Dialog Box, the text highlights and an error msg comes up "Unable to load/create dialog item of type 'HTML'. id=41510001 from dialog "Text Editor - Word Processor" in the message center at the bottom of the window, and then if you accept that the text disappears. It needs Crtl Z to bring it back. This is very disconcerting. Any fixes for this. Thanks.
