is here please any option how to fix (or sort) named group in Information dialog box ? If there is an element which is member of more than one Named group, then in Information dialog appears:
Groups [0] <Name of the group 1>
Groups [1] <Name of the group 2>
.... etc.
but the problem is that the groups "migrates" without any logic order. If I close the file and open it again I can see for example this :
Groups [0] <Name of the group 2>
Groups [1] <Name of the group 1>
"Position" of the group is crutial when you want to use the information (name of the group) in Text field. Is it possible to manage it some how ?

Just to clarify, is this relating to the Named Group or Element Information dialog that you're talking about? Also, which version of MicroStation is this relating to? It might be helpful if you could provide a couple of screen capture to assist with understanding what you are describing here.

thanks a lot for your reply. I’m sorry I didn’t describe the issue more detailed.
The problem was as follows :
I have a 3D model of a structure in Microstation V8i. Each element of the structure is member of two Named Groups representing sign of assembly part and number of specific item (please see „skupiny“ on the picture) :
The Sections of the model are referenced to 2D drawings and my intention was to use the name of Named group when placing a Note using a text Field . No problem to do this. I click on the element and choose the Named Group Description from information dialog to be used in the text field.
The problem is that when you close the drawing and open it again, the Named Group „position“ will switch and text in the Note is not that one selected before :
The question was if it is possible to arrange, somehow, the position of groups in the dialog.

Sorry for the delay in response to your issue. This does appear to be some sort of defect. Would you be able to also supply an example design file for us to try to replicate and report this to our development team? It would also be helpful to know which version of MicroStation V8i you're using as this could also affect the testing. Have you tried this same operation in MicroStation CONNECT Edition?
