how to raise or low an element elevation, for example, I want to raise the culvert elevation 1m, normal I can move in the front view, or change the two end elevation, do we have a tool select the element and direct add 1m to the element, so the element raised 1m? thanks.
Similar with accudraw: Select e.g. move, select the element and just press PP (accudraw in CE) Then you get the dialog for "Datapoint Input". There direcly key #,#,2. good e.g. for relative (like dx=) or absolute (xy=) values (a bit more modern version of the good old keyin window)
To me it seems like move element is the way to go.
The keyin dx=#,#,2 will move the element 2 units in Z keeping the X and Y intact.

Thank you Jan, got it.
Hi,
xinmh said:I also want to change the 3d smart line or line string elevation
it's not clear whether you want to change element elevation, which requires to change Z coordinates of all vertices (it's your original question), or the elevation of one vertex (it's seems to be your picture about).
There are several different ways hot to do both type of modifications in MicroStation (which is typical for MicroStation, where several different ways can be used often ;-)
The crucial tool (and mandatory knowledge to be able to use MicroStation efficiently) is AccuDraw, allowing to drag (using Element selection arrow) vertex or the whole element by defined relative delta in defined direction (e.b. Z axis):
Alternatively, for individual vertices or segments, you can edit their properties directly:

Thank you Andrew, I read the post before, It's only for the elements have the some elevation, but for the element have different elevations civiltool "set elevation" will change to same elevation, but for culvert, the two ends is different, I want to raise it 1m and keep the elevation different, not to flatten it. so I want to find another tools for it. thank you.
