How to set Perpendicular Snap to a key to use while drafting

Question

I have been drafting for over 15 years in AutoCAD, but I am new to MicroStation. Love the program and doing well. I am trying to figure out how I can set my perpendicular snap to come on while in the middle of drafting instad of having to go check the perpendicular snap icon everytime, since I have my MultiSnaps on, but perpendicular is not an option in the list. Someone had a good resolution I will paste below from exactly what he said how to assign my p on my keyboard to snap to perpendicular. 
 How do I do this below? 
 if your using accudraw then you could create a custom key that alias's they perp snap or edit the P to perp snap (instead of point keyin)... not what you wanted as you like the multisnap... 
 I use default key point and keyin with accudraw 
 I or C for Intersect or C for centre. and if I edited the P to perpendicular snap it would work too...

Another option is to access it thru shift+snap. To set up a key in Accudraw, focus Accudraw, type GS to bring up settings, in display tab hit Shortcut Keyins. Click add, find a character that's not used (p is unfortunately) and enter keyin "snap perpendicular" for one shot or "lock snap perpendicular" to change default snap. Can also be done with a function key or even a bit of custom ribbon.

 I never use the Perpendicular snap, I always use the RE (Rotate Element) option within the Accudraw tools. This allows me to rotate the AccuDraw compass to the Element on the fly. 
 
 In 2d world is to good, but in 3d world is it amazing. 
 
 You can also use it in conjunction with RX RY and RZ. ie RE to the element, then press RX to rotate the compass 90^ in the X direction. 
 
 this tool is available once you click the screen. If you want it prior to clicking you can use the Function key F11 to activate AccuDraw then RE
