Hello,
I am currently facing an issue with the printing of documents using microstation:
I do have a NESTED FILE with a 2D drawing and a 3D reference attached to it. I need to clip this reference in order to show just what necessary. This NESTED FILE it is located in my "FILE_MASTER.dgn".
When I reference the NESTED FILE into another .dgn (Live Nesting, Depth 1), everything seems okay, since it is displayed correctly (Drawing + Reference). The issue comes when trying to print this file because the clipped reference is not shown on the .pdf.
I already tried to change the way of clipping the reference (clip volumen, clip boundary…) and try different methods such as "save view" tool but everything ends up in the same way.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards!
What version (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of MicroStation are you using?

There is a Printing Forum that may be more relevant to your question. You can move your post using the More|Move menu.

are you able to reproduce the effect with some dummy files and upload them here for us to play with... and give description of what you expect it to look like if it was working..
Meanwhile if this is happening in only a few drawings or one drawing just as you want , this is much more work .. but as temp work around will get you over the line to be able yo get the drawings out until you figure the right way to sort it..
