Is it possible to view your history of everything you entered? I was wondering if it was possible to view my key-in history as well as the history of the keys and tools and actions I use when drafting. In AutoCAD you can just pull up your command history and it will display your previous commands entered, both at the command line and by selecting tools. This way I can see exactly what the action is for a specific action i either keyed in or selected the tool icon and used? This all started because i wanted to make a hot key to freeze a level.
Hi Chris,
Something similar for what you are asking can be 'Design History'. It will allow you to track and view changes made to a model. Check the following link for more details:

History of recently used key-ins is available at the bottom of key-in dialog box. Check the History(List Box) description at the bottom in following link:

Thanks for the tip, but I know about the key-in history when you expand it and I guess that's the closest thing I am going to get for what I am looking for. I really just wanted to see my history real quick because sometimes I want to see what the exact command key-in may be for something if I used the toolbar instead of key-in and just thought it was something as simple as F@ Toggle, but I understand that's not an option here.

One option is to record a VBA macro. Then examine the result of the recording, which often — but not always — reveals the sort of information you want.

The Bentley Macro Recorder was introduced with MicroStation CONNECT. It is not part of MicroStation V8i.

ahhh. I see. If I happen to use a toolbar and/or a series of them for something. I can create a Macro doing the same steps and then I can go back and look at my Macro details and see what the key-in or command is for what I was using. NICE!!! And thanks dominic, sorry I didn't realize what you were trying to show me earlier. Still drinking my first up of coffee. Thanks again everyone on here with the quick responses and help. It has been such a big help making the transition from using CAD for decades to using MicroStation and having to generate work as well as learn the software at the same time. So thank all of you!
If they are actual keyins, you can hit the UP arrow key in the keyin window and it will go through the last several key-ins. I don't recall how many, but more than one or two
