All our drawings are both in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical format.
Saudi Aramco want to make sure that we are able to provide them with drawings in their format (SAUDI ARAMCO CADD graphical environment (AutoSACS 6.1), based on MICROSTATION format). We need to export files from .DWG to DGN
Please advise us on following.
Is there is any specific procedure to be followed or Tool for conversion existing AutoCAD files, into AutoSACS format.
Please advise.
AutoSACS is a custom application owned by Saudi Aramco and runs inside MicroStation. Saudi Aramco provides it to all their Contractors/Vendors who work on their projects. AutoSACS has all the standards (Symbols, Levels, Line Styles, Title Block etc.). As a Contractor/Vendor you can request Saudi Aramco for AutoSACS which has detailed documentation along with all the required files/templates. This activity should have taken place, start of the project.
Open DWG files in MicroStation and save to DGN. While saving you have options to Remap. Check the documentation.
Not a straight forward task. You will need to know the AutoSACS standards and play with available Remapping options.
Thanks a lot for quick information.
AutoSACS is provided by Saudi Aramco.
Efforts are required to bring existing DWG files into Desire AutoSACS format.
Anyone has developed Conversion tool, micro or patch for this purpose.
You will probably have to develop your own remapping tables. Other people probably do not have your level structure, so their tables would be worthless.
You will have the option after creating them to save them so that you will be able to repeat the procedure.

Thanks !!
We do not aware of mapping tables.
do you have procedure or example of mapping table?
While we cannot advise what might be required with an AutoSACS format file requested from your client, Leonard Jones and MaryB are correct in suggesting that you could look at the various options to you with Save As DWG and Remapping what you might be required to produce for them. Leonard provided a link to the MicroStation help documentation but here is another relating to the various Remapping options.
