Hi All,
i created the cell below with my debris netting depicted in green color
but each time i insert the debris netting colour changes to white/black as shown below
Can someone please tell how i can resolve this colour disparity on insertion.
Thank you
H
Henry
when you created the cell, did you place the data on the correct levels, or use default?
also can you check the colour tables between the 2 files (cel and DGN)
Ian
Also, are you placing the cell with the "Relative" option checked? That can place it on levels that you don't quite expect.
Do you have any level overrides set, or turned on in your view?

Hi Ian,
due to the peculiarity of the cell, i used various level types for objects within the cell as opposed to the global default.
Hi Mary,
you are spot on. Why? I tried inserting again with the "Relative" option unchecked this time and Alas! problem resolved.
i really appreciate your help
Thanks guys and have good weekend
Glad to help!
Placing a cell "Relative" sets the on the active level, instead of the level of the cell elements. While that is great because you can have one cell and place it on different levels, it has unexpected results when the cell has defined, intended levels.
I only place cells "Relative" when I specifically need that cell on the active level. The rest of the time I leave that unchecked.
