I need to install ProjectWise on my PC to use with my MicroStation. I found a link to install ProjectWise, but it says CONNECT Edition and I do not have MicroStation CONNECT, so I am trying to make sure I download and install the correct version.

Also, when I restart my PC and open MicroStation, I always see this Bentley CONNECTION Client that is installed and I close the dialog out every time I open MicroStation , but not sure if that is associated with using PW and sharing and using files for a project. Please help as I am very green in this department.

With PW you need to seek advise from your client. There are many versions and each has an impact on the PW system. Its not as simple as pick one from the listI have numerous projects in V8i and CONNECT and I cannot simply install the latest version.

So I see there is a ProjectWise application for V8i and one for CONNECT. But it looks as if I can install and run the CONNECT version and take advantage of the cloud based features opposed to the regular V8i PW install version???
I am confused as you are saying there are a list of install versions for this software. I just need to use the service for simply working on project files with another company (client). Please help

technically you can install any version of PW client explorer. But its important to know that the PW client links to the PW server, it is this that needs a specific PW client version.
You would normally have a PW administrator either internally or externally. Do you know who this is?
I would ask the Client what version of ProjectWise they use, and which version of the PW Client they want you to use.
