We've recently updated to Microstation CONNECT have been having some issues with the program crashing. A lot of the time we don't even get the error messages, it could be something as simple as me touching the Ribbon and the whole program winks out. Today I am having a continuous problem simply copying and pasting my titleblocks from one file to another. I get an "Internal error: Access violation" error and a crash. I've attached a log from the last error. 4478.Exception.log
Please log a Service Request and provide the following dump file. C:\Users\Robert\AppData\Local\Temp\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0\MiniDump.dmp
We may also require a Full Dump with Page Heap. If you can share the DGN files and reproducible steps that will be great.
Reviewing the exception.log the call stack, points to Raster. Do you have any raster logo in your title block. What happens if you exclude the raster during copying and does it work.
The titleblock I was attempting to copy/paste has a raster image for a client logo. It looks like if I exclude that image I can copy and paste everything else, adding the raster image causes the program to crash. I tried with other titleblocks that contain an 811 utility locates logo raster image and they also crash when pasting. So it looks like anything I would attempt to copy/paste with a raster will now crash the program. This was never an issue before on Microstation. Is this now a common problem, or is there an issue with our installation?

On what version(s) of MicroStation was it not an issue? What version of MicroStation are you using now?

I don't recall seeing a simliar post.

There are many reported cases where something worked in V8i but doesn't work in CONNECT. Expect to hear from Bentley Systems proposing an 'enhancement' to restore historical capability.
