So a colleague, who had a plug-in in her MicroStation for Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, drew a bunch of car parking spaces in MicroStation. I do not have the plug-in and she can not longer access the design file.
There are lines, probably created by the plug-in, on a level called BayConstruction, that can not be seen or selected while I am in the design file. They are visible however, in live drawings. The weird thing is, they cannot even be turned off in some of the live drawings.
How can I delete them?
hi mate long time hearing from you
At my work we use these apps all the time I've not heard of anyone not being able to see the tracking ... Have you checked to see what version the DWG file is in ?
Open the dwg with acad and save it back down as 2013.. it should now be visible in V8iss4 or even ss3... if you upgrade to V8iss10 you get a few more versions higher..
Matt says to say hello too.. any more probs send me some demo test files in a pm to look at ok?

Hi Yuan Ge,

Have you check if this invisible lines are in Construction Class?
Go to View Attributes [ CTRL + B ] to see if Construction Class elements is turned on or off.

It is difficult to know how this third party vehicle tracking software is dealing with the placement of these elements. It would be much better, as Barry Lothian mas mentioned, if you could supply the related design file(s), whether they be DGN or DWG.

I'm using MicroStation V8i SS4. I tried opening the same file in ORD, and the problem was still there.
So the original car park design file is in DGN format.
Vehicle Tracking lines were added in via either of the following two methods.
1. My colleague's Vehicle Tracking added lines directly into the car park design file within MicroStation session - similar to how Transoft AutoTURN acts as a macro within MicroStation.
2. My Vehicle Tracking added lines into a DWG file, then the DWG file was referenced and copied into the original car park design file.
I'm wondering if I can see those invisible lines, if I open the car park design file in AutoCAD; and if I save the file again in AutoCAD, does it mess up the DGN in some way.
