Hi all
My office updated the microstation from V8i to CONNECT Edition last month.
When i copy the excel table to microstation V8i, I usually paste it as a picture.
But I can't do this in CONNECT Edition. I can't find the Data Type - "Picture of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet".
I can only choose the option "Device Independent Bitmap to Design file" to paste the picture of the excel spreadsheet.
However, the quality of picture that i paste in Connect Edition(Left) is lower than V8i(Right).
I also find that whatever the picture i paste, it become lower quality.
Is there any method to keep the quality of picture such as V8i?
it should be Connect Edition(Right) is lower than V8i(Left)

I prefer imbedded method in V8i it gives much better quality picture the old ole method is terrible and its a Microsoft thing that hasnt been improved.. in CE you can create tables from excel data similar to what our acad cousins do but I still prefer the embedded paste special method as its just so much easier... but it has its down side too with updating

The following Defect was previously raised which has now been fixed in MicroStation CONNECT Edition (Update 15).
Defect 1090927: "OLEcntr" is not get loading. Paste as Linking , Embedding and Picture options are missing in "Paste Special" dialog box.

Why not make those Defect links available for all registered users so we could follow it? I remember I had for some time view access to old flawtrack.bentley.com until this access was closed and only then it got to me it was not meant to be public. Nevertheless it was fun to read.
