So I have couple of elements under Level-A, they are all in blue, now instead of clicking them one by one, I want to change them all to red. I went to level manager and changed the Level-A color to red, however the drawn elements still remain blue. The only way I can change them to red is by clicking on each of them one by one, and going on element information and changing color to red. Please advise!
Pratik, there are several ways in which to control the color of an element.
1. by an actual color for its attribute (which sounds like what you are doing).
2. color is control "by level" - this is an autocad feature that MicroStation can use as well.
3. Level overrides - this is similar to the by level feature, but it is a separate function.
If you are not using by level or level overrides and want to change the actual color attribute from blue to red. You can select those elements and then change the color attribute for them. Either a selection set can do this or turn off all levels except the one containing the elements and select them, then change their color.
If you want to use by level for the change, the elements themselves have to have the color attribute set to by level in order for them to follow the change made in the level manger for by level attributes.
If you want to use level overrides, then you need to change the level manger from by level to overrides and change the color attribute for that level and then finally setting the level override option in the view attributes or the view you are using.

turn off everything except the level that has your blue objects,
Then select everything left on , and change tool to change the color of the selection or properties while still selected and change the colour there or change it to by level there and make sure the level manger has the colour you wanted.. either way works fast..
