Hello
When we use about 10 reference files with BRCM, explorer window opens with significant delay (several minutes). User want to search only in some references (2-3), not in all.But as I understand during Explorer window opening, BRCM reads all tags from all the reference files.
So, the only way – is to hide references, where the search should not be performed or perhaps there is another way?
Thanks in advance.
What version (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of BRCM and MicroStation are you using?

Please explain an acronym the first time you use it. Few people on this MicroStation Forum use Bentley Raceway and Cable Management (BRCM), which has its own Forum.

Hi Jon,
I am using Bentley Raceway and Cable Management Update 4 (10.04.00.31) and MicroStation Update 14(10.14.01.03).As explorer is coming from power platform, I was curious to know if there is some tip you can share so that I can save some time in the process?

Good to know!

Going by your bio, you're the expert on BRCM! Have you experimented with fewer reference files?

Yes, reducing the reference file count helps but it is a very small change and hence trying to find a better solution.
this may have some relevance to what you are requesting - if so, add to the count:

Yes, this "will" be helpful but I am looking for a solution/workaround for now.Although, I added myself to the count.
