I know there has been lots of discussions on this issue, but I am curious if Bentley plans on supporting the newer 64 bit versions of Google Earth? It now seems that Google Earth 7.1.8, the only version that seems to work with Microstation and its ability to synch back and forth, does not support Street view (at least for the past few weeks it hasn't been working and I would be interested to know if others are having the same issue). Our work around for now is to use 7.1.8 to synch with microstation and then if we need street view at a location then use the open location in Google maps command which allows street view from it.
Well you can get a Bing street map right from the View Attributes. When I need a google aerial (rare) I export a shape to KMZ, then capture the image, then warp it to my CAD file. Would be nice if they would make it work right.

But was long time user V8iss10 (8.11.09.919) dabbler CE update 16 (10.16.00.80)

I'm using GE 7.3.2.5776 (32-bit) and it syncs fine in both v8i and CE.
MicroStation also has the Open Google Maps tool. With it you just data point a location to open Google Maps in a web browser with the selected location in the center of the map.The key-in is: GOOGLEEARTH MAPSThis allows you to go directly from MicroStation to Google Maps (which has the option to use Street View).

Indeed 7.3.2 32bit does synch with Microstation but street view is unavailable. Installed 7.3.3 32bit, street view works but Microstation synch does not. I guess we will have to keep using Google maps for street view if we want to keep the version that synchs with Microstation.
