We are using Microstation Connect update 14 and we are having trouble editing 2 datafields in a cell.
The cell is a revision block cell and it has 2 datafields that are nested in the revision block cell.
In V8i we could right-click and it would jump to the next datafield for editting - in Connect, right clicking does nothing. There doesn't seem to be any way to toggle between the 2 datafields.
I opened a service request and it was immediately labeled as a defect and may be fixed in next version. Defect Report 1107554
Has anyone found any workarounds for this?
Thanks,
Regan
are you in the "edit data field" tool ? Don't double click - that assumes you are editing text.
If you don't know where the tool is - go to the search bar and keyin "data" you should see it in the list that pops up.
"fill in single enter data filed" is the tool.

Tim,
I hover of each and when I get to the single data field, I double click and the 2 char df editor opens. Doesn't seem to be a way to always select the single field.
Jon,
Yes, my selection settings are set to Indivigual and New.
I should of said its the left end of the cell that has the 2 data fields.
as you move your cursor over the data field you will see it switch between the two data fields being selected. When the one you want is highlighted , then select it.
Try moving your cursor back and forth along the data field and see the different ones highlight.

When I double-click on any datafield the text editor pops. I'm zoomed close in...
Check that your element selection is set to Individual...
