Hi,
We don't want to be "connected." We don't use the Connection Client for anything except licensing. We only have one account per computer. In other words, these icons at the top right corner of Microstation are totally useless to us. In fact, they cause "visual noise" (clutter), and make it harder to find what you're looking for. Also, this causes users to waste time, trying to figure out what these are, even though we don't want or need them.
How do I turn the display of these icons off?
--Thanks,--Robert Arnold

Would have to agree with you on this one. We don't have (or use) any connected projects.
Seeing that other parts of Microstation detect if you are connected to a CONNECT project a simple "fix" would be for it to only display the cloud project icons if you're actually connected.

Not really sure what they mean by connected project. Connected with who?
