I'm pleased to see that MicroStation CONNECT Update 15 introduces aggregates in Reports. Here's an example Area Report rendered as a Table...
How can I add a label to that last row? For example, Total?
Not sure if this is possible would need to check, Obviously having placed the Table, you can double click in the blank cell and enter the text 'Total'
The down side of using this method is if the Table is refreshed from a Report for example, this would be lost.
We are looking into this. Let us know if you see any other issue with this feature.

I wrote a Report to count cell instances, which is a function often requested on this Forum...
The aggregate and grouping user interface is hard to understand, or perhaps that's just me?
