I am a 1 year MicroStation CONNECT Edition user (Version 10.13.01.01)
Is there a way to open a new dgn without old deleted dgn libraries still attached. I would like a nice clean file where I could save linetypes and levels for different clients. I would open it, copy the elements I need, then paste into the file I am working on. Every time I try to open a new file, It has levels I cannot delete or rename.
Open it using workspace "No workspace".
Also check that these variables are not set at user level so it attaches automatically with your user.
I have tried opening with No WorkSpace - same result. Where can I check and/or change the variable to not be user level?
You can see the level of the configuration variable in the configuration variable dialog, where you made your screenshots. If the column does not appear you can make a right click on the top and then show the column "level" ny ticking it.
The definition which level the variable is set to is stored in the configuration files. You would have to edit these to change the level.
You can read a bit about it in this blog: Configuration Blog Series - Changes to Configuration Levels - MicroStation Blog - MicroStation - Bentley Communities
