I have logged an SR as I have found when updating to U15 the installer wouldn't recognise the custom configuration location. The response from Bentley was that they don't support custom workspaces! This is odd as they give you they option when installing the software.

When I updated, and also during previous updates, the installer accepted my custom configuration location on the network L:\ drive.

Clearly they do accept custom workspaces, but we know from your many previous posts here that your workspace design differs markedly from Bentley's recommended design. Presumably the installer can't find the directories and files it expects to find, and gives up.

I don't agree. Our workspace is a copy of the installed plus some additional dgnlibs, seed files, etc.

No. It just wouldn't accept the path that it had done on previous upgrades.
Can anyone from Bentley help with this?
Hi Stuart, as an alternative you could add the path to _USTN_CUSTOM_CONFIGURATION variable in ConfigurationSetup.cfg after installation and see if that works.

I did have to do that in the end but the installer should recognise the path, especially as it worked OK for U14.
