Hello,
I have been playing with Select By Attributes tool and I would like to know what kind of behaviour can I expect from the software if I chose Mode Location.
When I close the Select By Attributes window I get an Alert: WARNING: OK will allow SELECTBY to continue to filter location or display of elements. CANCEL will stop filtering by SELECTBY. - what does it mean in practice?
I have been testing many selection tools and at the end I lost track of what did i press.
I have noticed weird behavior, all vector elements were suddenly gray and by clicking on one of them all views (e.g. top, front) were adjusting to the position of the selected element. Is that a result of filtering?

A simplified explanation- If you don't hit cancel, next time you use the tool your former setting will be retained. If you cancel, next iteration of the command will start "clean".

What about Select by Attributes - Mode Location. Do you have any experience with that.
'Inclusive, selection, on' are what I use normally. 1st one-Exclusive will use the selected Level and invert what you have selected as Type. 2nd one will select, locate or display by attributes (unclear on what locate does). 3rd one seems to just turn the command function on or off.
