in MicroStation Connect (update 11-15), how do you run a vba module from a keyin script when using the "msbatch.bat batchprocess" from the command line? I thought in V8i a keyin was required mdl load ustnvba but this is not working in MicroStation Connect. My current keyin script is:
reference merge all
#load vba and runvba run [BVAMMPublishPackage]PublishPackageCE.BVAMMPublishImodels
filedesignchoose none

MicroStation Help tells us that you are using the correct key-in. Presumably that same key-in works interactively?

As a follow up on this, the failure of running vba in a command line batch process for MicroStation CE was filed as a defect. The defect number is 1088750.
I updated the number.
Sorry Mark Winegar, the link to the Defect is really only for Bentley colleagues. It is to our internal systems so you would not be able to access it. As mentioned this Defect has been approved for investigation into a future release but our development team have not mentioned which version. If you have a Service Request raised that is linked to this Defect you will be notified of any updates.

Understood. I was just updating what initially put in as a defect in the previous comment.
Hi Andrew,
I was wondering if you could help me understand why the msbatch.bat batchconvert command is not working with MS Connect Edition 13. I have MS V8i SS10 and MS Connect Update 13 installed both on my machine. I am calling using dos the "msbatch.bat" functionality but it gives me the error message that it can't find the MicroStation.exe.
This is my cmd line: "C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\MicroStation\msbatch.bat" convertbatch C:\temp\v8tov7.bcnv
Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks,
Maria
Please don't hijack a thread! This thread is about the batch processor and VBA. Your question is about starting the batch processor and doesn't involve VBA.

MicroStation help specifies MSBATCH like this...
msbatch batchprocess <batch_process_job_file_specification>
