Can you import a png, jpg or bmp file to use in a custom linestyle?
Kirk
Simple answer is yes
Have a look at the standard line styles as there are a few of then that are raster line styles an example would be Railroad Track Std... or Stone walkway... there reside in rasterstyles.rsc.
An example of how to make a raster line style is available in the help menu. Type in Raster Line Style Example or Raster Custom Line Styles
Hope that helps

Does this do anything for you?

not really
I Wish Cadland was Reality
yes I use the V8i theme when forced at virtual gun point to use CE but I still don't like it, it's personal choice I suppose..
But I still find it much quicker to open other dgn files with control O rather than the file open menu.. and Control F still works...
I wonder what the short cut key is to close in CE ( in V8i its Control W)
and what is is to exit..?
I'll have to check what works in v8i and test it in connect...
Lorys Control W will close CE but not exit CE.
Would you be kind enough to give me a list of issues that you are running into?

It seems the discussion was stolen for another topic ;-)
But you are right, MicroStation CE is standard Windows application, so Ctrl+W close open document (DGN file), whereas Altr+F4 exit the program ... the same for all Windows applications.
