We are trying to track down issues with random microstation crashes that cause it to completely drop out without any crash report dialogs or exception logs. Are there any debugging tools that would allow us to determine why the crashes are happening?
Hi Rayjoslyn,
You can review this wiki https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/15856/exception---microstation
But we normally request the following information to troubleshoot:
1) When did this problem start occurring?
2) What are the recent changes made in environment?
3) Is this a new installation?
4) How many systems from the site are having this problem?
Typical logs:

https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/39038/generate-type-7-minidump-with-page-heap
in some cases when Windows Event are not conclusive and not logs are generated we try to restore MicroStation to Factory defaults

In addition to good suggestions from Maria, in cases where the usual crash logs are not generated, ADPlus can be used to generate crash logs.
Generate crash logs with ADPlus
Note: ADPlus is part of the “Debugging Tools for Windows”.
You will need to download the “Windows 10 SDK”, select only the “Debugging Tools for Windows” and install.
