Level Manager not opening

Question

Hello, 
 I am trying to access the level manager to edit properties of certain levels. When I press the button, it does not open. I have tried opening it from the search bar however it still doesn't open. I have also tried to open it via Level Display by right clicking and selecting Level Manager which failed. I seem to be able to access every other feature fine. 
 The Level Manager has worked for me fine in the past until recently it suddenly stopped. I can not think of any settings changes I have done that would affect this. 
 Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jody, 
 Try the following: 
 
 In the Ribbon Search enter Window List 
 Click on Window List to get a list of all the open windows. You should see Level Manager in the list if it is indeed open. 
 Select Level Manager and click Ok . 
 Next with your keyboard press Alt+Space then press M then press any arrow key . 
 Now move your mouse and the window should appear with the mouse cursor in the middle of the title bar. 
 Click the left mouse button to release the window.

Perform a RestoreDefaults and check if you can access the Level Manager

Hi Jody, Which version of MicroStation you are currently using? It's possible that Level Manager dialog is open but is placed at a position on your screen that it's no longer visible. communities.bentley.com/.../dialog-box-cannot-be-moved-or-located 
 Try to temporarily lower down your Windows resolution by one step. This will force all dialogs to be repositioned and can make hidden dialogs pop back.

ok it would appear msnt is broken or corrupt before you do a restore defaults try in windows ( you may have permission) programs install / uninstall there is option to Repair this has gotten a few of my users out of trouble lke vba just stopped being able to run or create new vba... worth a try and cant break anything... even if no permissions ask your IT to do it for you before doing a restore... once its done you can try the keyins to bring back the dialog.. but it should work from the icons..
