I think the Ideas Forum is a great idea!
If I want to point someone towards a particular Idea, I would like to provide a link (or URL). However, I notice that wherever you are in the Ideas Forum, the URL is always the same: communities.bentley.com/.../i.
communities.bentley.com/.../i
For example, suppose I want to direct someone to vote on my Idea MS-I-399. How can I do that? Perhaps Eduardo Lazzarotto can comment?

But I fully agree with you, it would be great to easily share the link directly from the embedded UI, so I have shared your idea with Aha: https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-10934.

That's not even a "Bentley Idea" - that's an entirely different website that wants my email address. I'm not going to sign up for every website under the sun. Vote for me, will you?

Thank you for reaching out. And yes, idea https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-10934 is the one shared with Aha for them to add functionality to the ideas management system.
So Bentley doesn't even have control over "their own" Ideas site...More third party BS. I saw another "Idea" over there to create a means to "Share" ideas, and that was marked "Not likely to be implemented" by the powers that be. They probably won't be interested in yours either. Tell me again, what is the benefit of this convoluted system that you guys can't even control?

As mentioned a few months back, multiple Bentley products roadmaps are now managed or are in the migration process to be managed in Aha (https://www.aha.io/), which is one of the market leading Product Management tools. Ideas shared via https://microstation.ideas.aha.io/ideas can be more easily linked with ongoing planning, existing projects and/or bugs/enhancements items.
So far, our hypothesis that the current portal would help accelerate ideas consideration, feedback, planning and eventual delivery has proven to be correct. Since the migration back in January 2021 we have reviewed more than 180 ideas, covering all ideas that have 15 or more votes. This is a considerable improvement on ideas feedback compared to our previous tool. We have also received positive feedback from multiple users regarding the quicker feedback and consideration.
But we are aiming at improving this even further and accelerating even more the process of reviewing your ideas and making sure they are part of the product planning process.

Just curious - is LumenRT one of these products? I thought "Ideas" is meant for new features, how is that can be linked to "bug"s?

Thank you for reaching out. You are absolutely right, ideas are meant to be new features, workflows or services, which usually equate to enhancements or epics in software development lingo. However, we have seen a few ideas over the years that are either entirely or partially driven by existing functionality limitations or defects, hence we can also link ideas to these items in our backlog.
