Hi,I found this picture on the internet, in a Microstation Connect documentation written by Stephen Holmes and Robert Jones. (Peoples maybe also active here?)I find the change-view popup shown on the right very interesting, but it is not described in this documentation.I've tried a lot and googled afterwards, but unfortunately without success.Maybe someone knows whether this is an onboard function in Microstation or how to get this on-screen menu? Many thanksRegardsRaphaël

You're close: search MicroStation help for Screen Menu.

Hi Jon,Many thanks, that's it
Hi Raphael,
Yes this is a popup "Screen Menu" - This particular one was developed for AECOsim SS6 - Noel Page took a simple version I had started and really went to town to show off what screen menus could do. I think OpenBuildings Designer still carries a version of which is mapped to Ctrl+Shift+RightClick.
This particular menu is somewhat superseded by the CONNECT shortcut Shift+RightClick
However....
While Screen Menus take a bit of time to put together, they are incredibly flexible because they are just a series of Saved views of 2D Models with special commands attached to the elements. Connect really makes adding commands very easy, and you can even use ribbon icons with their commands pre-set in the screen menus.
Saved view allow you to have "pages" of menu, and can even animate a 3D menu.
I have developed a screen menu to better organise, choose, & place hatching/patterning (using 3 clicks instead of 20), others have created entire custom keyboard menus.
Would love to see your menu idea ;-)
Regards
Robert
If you are interested in creating your own custom screen menus you can refer to the following blog series that walks you through creating and using screen menus:

Does Bentley happen to have the finished dgnlib file that contains the screen menus in the video on Blog-1 ? The 3D cube to be specific?
