Hello,
I am currently using Microstation Connect 10.14.00.109 and I have 3 areas where I want to calculate the area using the flood method.
I go to drawing>measure>analyses>measure and I choose flood method. I next select the areas and click the data button to get my sq ft
and reset and do the same thing for the other 2 great.
Is there away to get a cumulative total of all 3 with without resetting each on and reduce all the clicking if so how?
Thanks

Yes, to read the tool documentation or to read what MicroStation tells you would be enough:
In Status bar, when first area is selected, is written it's possible to select next area using Ctrl key:
Also, in the tool documentation, it's mentioned that when more elements are involved, they can be selected using Ctrl key.

Hi Steve
I also have found if I create a selection set ( if real closed shapes) then select the tool measure area and data point in empty space it gives me the total area of the shapes selected.. I even do this by level names turned on select all the visible shapes and lets me measure total area of each level name shapes.. only draw back no duplicates allowed no small shapes underneath big shapes of same layer name.. but if your data is nice and clean its great.. I use it for calculation of pavement areas.... .you can even use the selectby mdl tool to specify or pick the shape by level name colour and element type ie shape or the power selector .. will even give a count and then choose measure tool to get the total area... I often run the date clean up first to remove duplicates and look for overlaps before measuring areas this way.. still great tool time saver...BTW turning on and off the fill attribute is a quick visual way of finding small shapes under the big ones....
