google earth not launching from microstation.
Hi Syed,
This issue is discussed in the wiki article, Google Earth Integration with MicroStation.
MicroStation works only with 32-bit Google Earth. 64-bit Google Earth is not supported.
I have had success using Google Earth 7.3.2 for Windows (32-bit) for both V8i and CONNECT versions of MicroStation.
Regards,Ron
in v8i you will need a microsoft key for google earth pro set in your workspace config.. but not needed for connect.

That article says that V8i can only use GE v7.1.8
If I could use 7.3.2 that would be awesome.

Lorys,
Microsoft doesn't provide a "key" for Google Earth Pro.
I think you are confusing Google Earth Pro with Bing Maps.

The article is not correct on that point,
I have been using GE 7.3.2 (32-bit) for both Connect and V8i for several years. Every time our IT staff updates GE to the latest GE 64-bit version I have to uninstall it and reinstall GE 7.3.2 (32-bit) to restore MicroStation's functionality.
