Hello! Could you help me, please! I would like to take courses in Microstation and OpenRoad Designer. I am a college student and planning to work in the field of CCAD and road design. Before I'll get access to download software through the Bently Education Platform, I decided to download the trial version of Microstation, but the error has appeared. It said, that I don't have the appropriate version of Windows. I have Windows 7. Can I find a trial or student version of Microstation and OpenRoad Designer for this version of Windows?
Hi Varvara,

Microsoft ended support for Windows 7 in January 14, 2020.
Bentley has this road map for product support, and Connect Edition versions are supported in Windows 7 but just the 64bit version.
Check in Windows \ Control Panel \ System and Security \ System to see if your version is 64 or 32 bit.
So if you're going to use these products I advice to you to update your OS to 64bit.

There are several ways to do that:
In Bentley Communities:
Microstation (you already find this forum)
OpenRoad Designer
Inside Bentley Learn Server there are many courses.
Please click Verified Answer on the posts that helped you so others in the community can find them easily.
Hope this helps and regards

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately I have 64 bit Windows 7 and I couldn't install Microstation (I am not sure that it was Connect Edition, but I didn't find any other trial version only this https://www.bentley.com/en/products/brands/microstation ) .

Bentley only has the CE available.
Sorry for not being so insightfully but unfortunately CE Update 15.2 and so one, Update 16 and forward don't work anymore in Windows 7, see here and here.
So you only have two choices, ask Bentley for an older version like U15 (latest one that works in W7) or update your Windows to at least version 8.1.
Hope this helps and regards.
