I was wondering if anyone knew where someone can go get linestyles that are created already. I been doing a lot of utility work along with some survey stuff. Basically I do a lot of the work in Carlson which is a AutoCad program but not all the linestyles transfer over for like HighBank and other lines.
Thanks
If you have a .lin file containing this Line Style from this Carlson (AutoCad) software it could possibly be imported into MicroStation using the tools available in the Line Style Editor.
Line Styles And DWG Files
Line Style Editor Dialog
When a ".lin" file is opened, the Select Linestyles to Import dialog opens, which is used to select the AutoCAD line styles to import. In the list box, entries for AutoCAD line styles with the same names as custom line styles in the open DGN file appear in red.

If you did this wouldn't you add this to the seed file for microstation so it is saved when creating a new dgn? I've never had to do this so it's all new. I'm trying to set standards at this company
