I am working on creating my own Line Styles in OpenBuildings Designer but I seem to have encountered a bug. I want to select a Base Stroke Pattern but it would not let me. How can I fix this issue?
Hi Connie,I would go with these steps:Find and open "Line Style Editor" > Click on "Edit" tab > Click on "Create" > Click on "Stroke Pattern" (This will create a stroke component) > Click on "Edit" tab > Click on "Create" > Click on "Point" (This will create a point component) > Select created point component > Click on "Base Stroke Pattern".The issue shows up every time I do this. Maybe this happens only on my software. I'm not sure.Thank you for your help.Best,Sam
Hi Samuel,
That is the same steps that I am trying to reproduce on my end. And yet, I am still cannot reproduce on plain MicroStation CE. I will try the OpenBuildings Designer CONNECT Edition and see if I can reproduce it.
Regards,
Connie
I had this problem too in earlier versions of MicroStation CONNECT. If I remember correctly it is a conflict with the video driver.
Setting this variable was the fix.
QV_DISABLE_D3D11=1
I think there were a few other dialogs (not in the line style editor) that had this problem.

Hi Connie,My apologies. I should've posted this on its respective forum page for OpenBuildings Designer.
Samuel Aaron Felipe Are you still facing this issue? Can you please upgrade to Update 16 or 16.1 and check if the issue is resolved for you?
