I upgraded to Micro 8i (SELECTSeries 10) & now Font Type 080 is missing. How do I retrieve it & from where?
Depending on what is the Font type (*.RSC, *.TTF, *.SHX) you may have to search your machine/backups for these file types.
If you find any of these file types copy to the following folder for MicroStation to pick it up.
Copy RSC files to C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\WorkSpace\System\Symb\
Copy SHX files to C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\WorkSpace\System\Fonts\
Copy TTF files to C:\Windows\Fonts\
Thank you very much, Leonard. Its an RSC file. But I had to upgrade to Microstation CONNECT on Friday & its "Workspaces" doesn't contain a "System" folder

What version of MicroStation had you been using that worked successfully with MicroStation font 080?

Leonard answered your question about MicroStation V8i. If your question is about MicroStation CONNECT then you need to understand its configuration and folder structure. MicroStation looks for resource (RSC) fonts in folders specified by MS_SYSFONTDIR.

Thanks Jon.I was working in Micro V8i where Font 080 was working. Can you please give me the steps to get Font 080 into the correct folder of Micro CONNECT so that it can be automatically picked up when I open the existing drawings? I have Font 080 in an e-mail...
Copy the Font 080 to folder C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\MicroStation\Default\Symb\ and MicroStation Connect will automatically pick it up.
