Hi,
Would appreciate some help to get the "level filter set" keyin to work. I can't find any documentation relating to that keyin. Initially, I would like to be able to quickly turn on/off used level filter. If I can do that without creating a named filter that would be good.
Best regards,
Tuan Le
Not sure if you've had a look through the Help Documentation but here is a link to this filter key-in explanation.
Active Level Filter
Not sure whether you can see this AskInga Wiki article but it may also be helpful.
Keyin to set a level filter
Also, the key-in "active level filter all levels" might be helpful with turning off all level filters.
[V8i] Key-in to set level filter?
RegardsAndrew BellTechnical SupportBentley Systems
Hi Andrew,
I believe I've looked through that help sections and its subpages and I can't find any help with the "level filter set ..." syntax.
I'm familiar with "active level filter..." key in, but it doesn't help in my use case as I want to define a temporary filter on the fly using keyins.
Hi Tuan,
can you please follow the best practices and to share information what product and version do you use (e.g. using standardized subject format)?
Also, to share a picture often explain the question much better than text: Do you mean these "noname filter(s)" and possible interaction using key-ins?
Regards,
Jan

the quickest way is in the level display manager ( not the level manager) sort by used is just a click away why bother with keyins.. too much and too long to remember..
If you want it for filtering then your better off with the named filter called used and set it to show the used its an =1 in the filter under the element column .. I think you need to check.. and if its in the dgnlib and shared on network workspace config then everyone has access to the filter all the time ,,,, better than long keyins.. our acad cousins love keyins but that is because they can keep them customised to short 2 or 3 letters.. IMHO it's just too much work just use the the level display manager sort by used...quick easy no brainer...single click as you should always have it docked anyway...

I think the OP may be referring to this Key-in. I've looked at this before and tried to experiment with it in the recent past and could not figure out how any of the far right column affect anything. I believe they may be some old legacy key-ins that no longer work, but there is no documentation on them in CONNECT. I have not looked in v8i, but assume the same result. Level Filter Create works to create a new filter. Level Filter Import works to import levels from another file.
