"level filter set" keyin usage

Question

Hi, 
 Would appreciate some help to get the "level filter set" keyin to work. I can't find any documentation relating to that keyin. Initially, I would like to be able to quickly turn on/off used level filter. If I can do that without creating a named filter that would be good.

the quickest way is in the level display manager ( not the level manager) sort by used is just a click away why bother with keyins.. too much and too long to remember.. 
 If you want it for filtering then your better off with the named filter called used and set it to show the used its an =1 in the filter under the element column .. I think you need to check.. and if its in the dgnlib and shared on network workspace config then everyone has access to the filter all the time ,,,, better than long keyins.. our acad cousins love keyins but that is because they can keep them customised to short 2 or 3 letters.. IMHO it's just too much work just use the the level display manager sort by used...quick easy no brainer...single click as you should always have it docked anyway...

ok I had a look at your file , I always have the level display on, not the level manager and I add the elements to the list 
 then I can filter by used just clicking on the tab it rearranges the listed levels by used first and is confirmed by the no elements far right.under the used dots mean used lev no dot and not bold means not used and in this case empty ei no elements count. 
 I have this set in my seed file and every drawing i make has it set up so I can quickly see used levels with one or 2 clicks if somebody else closed the level display dialog. 
 the snippet is from V8i but his feature is still in connect ed so much easier than keyins or filters or macros and its the way bentley intended it to work filter by used and bring by order to top of listing... teach your operators to use this its great tool.. 
 I had to be shown this feature as I didn't know you could add to the listing via right mouse on the grey bar about 15 years ago.. been using it ever since every day!
