Hi
I have a filled shape in a nested reference (ref. 1.1) that hide linework in another nested reference (ref 1.2) (1 level of nesting).
I have tried changing element and level priority but still the fill shows above the lines. The reference priority cannot be changed because of nesting.
I have also tried changing the update sequence in the file attaching directly the references (ref 1) and it does not seem to have changed a thing.
Has anyone else had this issue? What should I try next?
Thanks.

I agree - a few more details would be helpful.
If you open the directly attached reference (the one containing the nested references) does the shape still appear on top of the linework ?

I noticed that when I open the file containing the direct references the display order is wrong which I can fix by updating the sequence in which the references are loaded. However what I set in the "Update Sequence" dialog does not get saved in the file. After I "Check in" the file in PW and check it back out, the "Update Sequence" is back to default.

Perhaps, before you check the document back into ProjectWise, you need to Save Settings, also known as key-in FILE DESIGN (Ctrl-F)

Hi Alexandre,
What happens if you save the file locally on your computer and you update the sequence using MicroStation only, outside PW environment?
Are the settings for Microstation saved?

Maria

Jon is right, to remember (save) the update sequence, Save Settings (Ctrl+F) should be used, because it's not saved automatically as normal elements.
