Hi
I have a filled shape in a nested reference (ref. 1.1) that hide linework in another nested reference (ref 1.2) (1 level of nesting).
I have tried changing element and level priority but still the fill shows above the lines. The reference priority cannot be changed because of nesting.
I have also tried changing the update sequence in the file attaching directly the references (ref 1) and it does not seem to have changed a thing.
Has anyone else had this issue? What should I try next?
Thanks.

Hi Alexandre,
to better understand your situation, can you check how display styles are set?

The display style was not set for active view it just defaulted to "Wireframe". I tried creating explicitly a Wireframe display style with both "Use file order" option active and inactive. I got better overall results with the option inactive but not all linework came to the front of the fill. The references both direct and nested are set to Presentation:Wireframe, Visible Edge:Wireframe
Some other nested references are set to Presentation:Wireframe, Visible Edge:Dynamic but those are not the ones responsible for the display order issue at hand.
thanks for the details. What is still not quite clear is whether your models are 2D, 3D or (in the worst case ;-) a combination of 2D and 3D together (plus, whether they all are DGN or other format(s) is used).
With regards,
All files are 2D created with the same 2D Seed and workset within a ProjectWise environment. They are all *.dgn.
