Working in CONNECT, Why is it that if I have 2 ff's together, some of the other letters disappear in that particular word? If I change the text to all caps they show up.
Hmmm. also if you've installed the fonts into windows I would remove them and load the ones appropriate to the software via the MS_FONTPATH variable.
The top 2 examples are FDOT which is a true type font. The other is Courier New. This does not happen in v8i. My work around is to print from v8i. I am wanting to find a solution so when v8i is removed we don't have the issue.
Where would I find the FDOT CONNECT? We have been instructed from DOT to download their true type fonts in order to view and use their standards.
On my last computer we had the fonts in both locations. We use them in word/excel documents that are imported in MicroStation.
The current download is here:
FDOTConnect CADD Software
FDOT also has a support forum on Bentley Communities, they may be able to provide more advice there:

For both MicroStation and Office to use your fonts they should be installed in the Windows Fonts folder.
