How can I refresh an embedded line style in file - or even better, force the file to read the RSC file which is where we maintain our standards?
I have run into this a few times. You need to change any element using the line style embedded in the file to use another style. Them use "delete unused linestyles" key-in to remove the embedded style. Now you can apply the line style from the .rsc
Microstation CONNECT - 10.17.2.61
ORD - 2021 R1 10.10.1.3
ORD 2022 R1.1 - 10.11.3.2
ORD 2022 R3 - 10.12.2.4
Microstation v8i SS 10 - 08.11.09.919
Power InRoads v8i - 08.11.09.615
ProjectWise - 10.0.3.453
This should not be this complicated. Updating a bunch of DGN's when an RSC is updated needs a better process.

I agree. It is very cumbersome. The first time I ran across it in CONNECT/ORD it took me a long time to realize what process needed to be used to delete the embedded styles.
